frequently asked questions

  • Everyone’s goals are different and everyone progresses at a different speed. Ultimately, people get out what they put in. It isn’t uncommon to see noticeable changes within 6 weeks of working with a coach. We advocate for small, high-impact changes over time, as too many changes at once are not sustainable.

  • The duration of coaching is up to you and depends on when you feel you’ve achieved your goals. We hope you feel confident in managing your own diet and nutrition within 3 to 12 months of working with a PLTFRM coach.

  • As part of the onboarding process and ongoing coaching, we create and track measurable goals. Progress can be measured in various ways: weekly pictures, performance levels, energy levels, the number on the scale, or freedom from the scale. We will regularly check in on and track your progress toward your goals.

  • Clients can track the types and estimated amounts of foods/drinks/snacks, or track macronutrients, depending on what best supports their goals. We believe in using the least restrictive approach possible, increasing complexity only when needed. For tracking, we provide a shared Google Sheet and ensure you are comfortable and confident with the approach that works best for you at different phases of your journey.

  • If you have a coach preference, you can indicate it on the onboarding assessment. If you don't have a preference, we will match you with the best-fit coach based on your needs and goals. Due to demand, coaching matches may be based on availability.

  • No, we do not offer meal plan templates. PLTFRM Nutrition Coaching guides clients on the quantity and quality of food, macro targets, and best practices for achieving those targets based on your current lifestyle—not specific meals.

  • Yes. For those who prefer face-to-face interaction with their coach, you may add on monthly video coaching to your weekly email coaching program.

  • Yes. For those more experienced with diet and nutrition - and want a one-time assessment and consultation for their specific needs and questions - you may purchase and schedule a one-time consultation with one of our coaches.
